A young woman and her boyfriend were driving one summer evening to a campground. Without warning, a driver heading the opposite direction crossed the center line. The boyfriend tried to swerve to avoid the collision but their vehicle was hit head-on.

What would otherwise seem like a typical rear-end accident was life-changing for one gentleman who will never again be the same. While stopped at a red light, this man was rear-ended while a passenger in his son's van. He received a severe back injury with nerve impingement and ultimately ended in a surgical fusion repair of his low back.

Our client was driving through an intersection on a green light when his vehicle was hit by a car coming off the highway ramp at highway speed. That vehicle ran a red light and struck our client’s vehicle on the driver’s side and pushed the car across the intersection, breaking the front wheel off.

Our client watched in dismay as a vehicle suddenly crossed the center line on icy roads directly in front of his vehicle. With nowhere to go, the two vehicles collided head-on.  Our client sustained severe injuries, including facial injuries, a broken arm, fractured ribs and a fractured spine.  He also sustained head injuries, complete with a mild traumatic brain injury.

Our client was making a left turn from a freeway exit.  The light for cars turning on the exit ramp turned green and the first car in line made its turn.  The second car started to go then stopped, our client was in the 3rd car and he stopped also and was hit from behind twice. 

After being driven to his knees when a heavy object fell from a department store wall and struck him in the head, this Plaintiff hired Cory Whalen to pursue the store for medical and wage loss damages. 

A young woman was injured when a man in a pick up truck ran a red light and T-boned her car, directly in to the driver-side door. She lost consciousness and her head hit the side window hard enough to shatter it. She was taken to the emergency room with severe injuries, including head, chest, jaw, hip, knee and foot injuries. She had lacerations along the left side of her face.

The Christmas Eve that hosted this accident was anything but silent and calm. Icy roads produced treacherous driving conditions and a semi overturned in the middle of the freeway. Our client and her fiancee, behind the semi, managed to stop before striking the semi. Multiple other vehicles veered into the ditch to avoid him. However, our client's vehicle was struck while stopped, first by a car that came around the bend and was unable to stop and then by a second semi that slid on the icy roads and crashed in to our client's vehicle.

A two-year old boy was unfortunate enough to encounter the nasty side of his neighbor's dog when it bit him in the face. The dog's teeth hooked just under the young boy's eye and along the side of his mouth, resulting in multiple stitches and permanent scarring.

A young woman sustained permanent ankle injuries when involved in a motor vehicle accident in 2005.  Seven years after the accident date, her attorney eventually sought out Cory Whalen to take over representation for her case.
